What our guests say

Our guests love the space and comfort, the closeness to the sea and the joy of being together. These reviews capture these special moments in their own words, from family celebrations to quiet coastal retreats.

Time to celebrate significant birthdays

“Coast House is a thoughtfully extended and renovated mid terrace property. Everything about it oozes quality. Lovely welcome pack on arrival! Thoughtful touches such as washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloths, loo rolls etc very welcome. Fire starter and logs to burn was a great touch.

The 5 children with us ranged from ages 2 to 8 and they loved the snug room which had games/toys and TV provided to keep them occupied. The open kitchen/ dining area is a great socialising space...we managed to settle a mixture of 10 adults and 5 children around the large dining table.

Our experience of Coast House and its host was great and I won't hesitate to recommend it as a place to stay for larger groups.”

Room for everyone to enjoy at their own pace

“We all had a brilliant time. There is plenty of space in Coast House for everyone. If you just want to chill in the hot tub, sit and play games, watch a film or to have a quiet sit down after a busy day at the beach. ”

Close to the beach and countryside

“Beautiful modern bungalow, fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities which was just perfect for 2 families of 5 with small children. Lots for the kids to do, a beautiful beach a few mins walk away and superb local countryside. ”

A house that truly works for large family gatherings

“Recently stayed for our annual big family getaway and had a fantastic stay, Coast House was perfectly adequate for all 15 of us! The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked a big meal every night, the location is great too, easy walking distance into the town, and lots to do locally.

We visited Felbrigg Hall and Hillside animal sanctuary, both within 6-7 mins by car. I’d particularly recommend the animal sanctuary if you have children, it’s free of charge and the kids really enjoyed it!

I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Cromer!!”

A peaceful seaside retreat

“Had a wonderful 4 nights at Rebecca’s place to see in the New Year. The bungalow was well equipped as well as being beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a huge hit with the family and perfect on a cold afternoon. The beach was a short walk away and was so peaceful. Any queries Rebecca answered straight away!

If only we could have stayed longer!! ”

Something for every generation

“Something for everyone when you have four generations in the same place. Plenty of space inside and enough outside, having the hot tub was a bonus, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location.”

Ideal for families with kids

“A spacious bungalow with a large garden, ideal for families with kids. Very close to the beach.

We had a lovely stay all round. 10 out of 10. Nice touch with the selection of books and toys. Great garden! ”

Peaceful location

“Excellent choice for a peaceful, quiet and comfortable stay. The decor, beds and kitchen were immaculate. The each is an easy five minute stroll and swimming in the sea was safe and enjoyable. The nearby Chinese restaurant was as good as it gets. Visit again in a flash!”

A big hit with the children

“My family and I spent the half term week at Robins Rest. The house was wonderful, very clean and a good-sized space for 6 adults and 3 children. An incredibly short walk to the beach and the kids absolutely loved the hot tub. Our hosts were fantastic, and there were plenty of places to visit just a short drive away.”

- Bryn & family

Designed with families in mind

“We booked Robin's Rest for a family seaside holiday as two families with children. The cottage is well-equipped with cosy little nooks, plenty of games and toys which were well received by the young children. We were especially pleased with the kitchen equipment, as we cooked large family meals each night and could always find what we needed.

The covered hot tub was great and we made good use of the heated outdoor shower when returning from beach trips or showering off after a dip in the tub - what a great idea! The location is good for visiting the nearest beach (Bacton); two minutes' walk.

Thanks for a great stay! Would definitely recommend.”
